Joscho Stephan Django Nuevo (2010)

100 years after Django's birthday, Joscho decided to do an album without songs that Django played or composed (!), in order to produce a new repertoire for the future. He wrote some of his own songs and used compositions by the Beatles (Michelle), Santana (Revelations) and Mozart (Rondo alla Turka). When he plays on stage together with Tommy, the Rondo is one of their favourites.

Homage to the Master Django Reinhardt. Half of the tracks were composed by Django, the other half by Joscho. Still a favourite.

Genre: Jazz. Joscho's debut CD, which got him some international interest for his music. It was CD of the month in the American Guitar Player Magazine. He and his band recorded the album in one day!

A mix of swing standards, and some other influences (with a funky Sweet Georgia Brown Version). Probably Stephan's fastest record.

After 10 years on tour, Joscho's band decided to record a live album. This is an absolutely new repertoire with the dynamic of a live concert. Pure Joscho.
